Let me introduce myself…

I have grown up in this industry, working with trees since being a teenager, I quickly grew passionate and decided this was the career for me. After some years working for a few companies, learning the skills and growing with confidence. I decided to go freelance as a tree climber, specialising in technical work and really honing my craft. I operated on a subcontract basis and companies would hire my services when required. Over a decade of freelancing my reputation for the highest standard of work has grown alongside me, completing work for many companies across the North West. However, now entering my thirties, it seems the right time to launch my own tree service, Onsight Arboriculture.

The name of the company, ‘Onsight’, is a rock climbing term. To on-sight a climbing route is the best standard one can achieve, getting to the top without any mistakes, falling off or rehearsal and is of the highest regard in the climbing scene. Being a keen rock climber, I saw it fitting to marry these two close but different worlds, with this name epitomising the ethos I bring to tree care and all aspects of the industry.
